Survey Location: Ha Loc port, Vung Tau City, BR-VT
Scope of work: PMS provided diving services for Loyz Transporter, include:
  • Inspection and cleaning of Bow thruster and Stern thruster blades.
  • Prepare the hull for UWILD to meet BV requirements
  • To provide CCTV and photos shoot to meet BV Class requirement for UWILD.
  • Sets of reports for BV Class and Owner.

Detail results:
1.     General visual inspection vessel hull and its attachment structures
1.1. Bulbous bow ( check the condition of soft/ hard marine growth, the welding seams, the painting cover, any damage…)
  • The bullbous bow was found in good condition.
  • All of marine growth were cleaned by divers.
  • The anodes are remaining about 80%.

1.2. Bilge keels ( check the condition of soft/ hard marine growth, the welding seam, the painting cover, any damage, the end of bilge keel, zinc anodes…)
  • Both of bilge keel palting and welding seams were found in good condition.
  • All of marine growth were cleaned by divers.
  • The anodes are remaining about 80%.
1.3. Side shell ( check the condition of soft/ hard marine growth, the welding seams, the painting cover, any damage, zinc anodes…)
  • Plating and welding seams were found in good condition.
  • All of marine growth were cleaned by divers.
  • The anodes are remaining about 80%.

1.4. Bottom ( check the condition of soft/hard marine growth, the welding seams, the painting cover, any damage, zinc anodes…)
  • Plating and welding seams were found in good condition.
  • All of marine growth were cleaned by divers.
  • The anodes are remaining about 80%.
2. Sea chests  ( check the condition of the marine growth soft/hard , welding seams, the painting cover, any damage, the hings, the bolts secure or not, the split pin of the bolts…)
                2.1 High sea chest at starboard side
                - High sea chest is found intact with grating and bolts securing
                - Both of soft and hard marine growth were cleaned by divers.
                - Diver can see some soft marine growth inside and then diver taken the grating out and cleaning.

                2.2 Bottom sea chest ( pump room )
                - Bottom sea chests is found intact with grating and bolts securing
                - Both of soft and hard marine growth were cleaned by divers.

                2.3. Low sea chest at port side
                - Low sea chests are found intact with grating and bolts securing.
                - Both of soft and hard marine growth were cleaned by divers

                2.4. EMG sea chest
                - EMG sea chests are found intact with grating and bolts securing.

3. Thrusters, main propellers ( check the condition of soft/ hard marine growth, any damage, the propeller hub, propeller cap, blades, the bolts and nuts , nut stoppers, rope guard, rope cutters…)

                3.1. Bow and stern thruster:
                - All of gratings, tunnel thrusters, hub, cap, blades… were found in good condition.
                - The bolts and nut stoppers are intact.
                - Both of soft and hard marine growth were cleaned by divers.

                3.2. Main propellers:
                - Both of main propellers are found in good condition.
                - Diver cannot see the bolts, nuts and nut stoppers at the blade roots because they were covered by a cement layer.
                - No signal of oil leaking was found.               
                - Both of soft and hard marine growth were cleaned by divers.

4. Rudders ( check the condition of soft/ hard marine growth, any damage, the link system, hinge system, rudder blade…)
                - Both of rudders are found in good condition.
                - No signal of oil leaking was found.
                - The anodes are remaining about 80%.

5. Anomaly report:
                - Diver don’t found any anomaly during underwater inspection.
