UNDERWATER SURVEY DRY DOCK'S GATE

Scope of work:

Survey status of pump room’s door at pontoon gate of Dry dock.
Check the sediment’s condition, trashs, obstacles at surounding grids.
Underwater survey pontoon gate.
General survey all the P-rubber washers, steel plates, woods, bolts at pontoon gate for repair.

Details:
1. Survey of pump room’s door at pontoon gate:
Divers find out 2 door with 2 grids and 1 plate steel:
Door No.1: there are so many strash and obstacles, they were sucked. They are takes about 70~80% the superficies, distance from the door’s point lowest to the bottom is about 15~20 cm. Grids’s status are secured, the bolts are intact and tight.

Door No.2: there’re some sediments, the trashs takes about 20~30% the superficies. The status of girds is secure, there aren’t bolts anymore.
Divers have find out one big plate steel with 10mm thickness close at the bottom.

Status of sedimentation:
Divers are surveys the area in front of the gate go out the sea, about 10m, status of sedimentation as follows:
Sedimentation are so much, deep, as far as reduces, the thickness is about 25~30cm.

2. Underwater inspection for Pontoon gate.
Divers are survey following P-rubber washer in Pontoon gate’s internally, the targets are bolts, rubbers, woods, steel plates. The result as follows:
Steel plate: about 80~90% has peeled off or deformed.
Bolts: 90% of bolts were lost or deformed, estimate is about 150 pieces were spoiled.
Wood: type 300 x 400 is peeled off about 40~50% ( same 40m) along the bottom.
A lot of sand at the bottom, thickness is about 20~30cm.
