PMS has coordinated the cable repair ship in the search, repairment and burial the optical cable that was broken, damaged or pulled up the seabed by ship anchor.
PMS was combined with the cable repair ship as CS Vega or Asian Cable Ship to complete repair and burial the optical cable for many times at Vung Tau sea area. Total length of optical cable which was buried is about several tens of km.
Cable burial method is executed in order:
Detect the cable coordinate by GPS.
Use the marker buoys to mark the cable.
Diver combine with Cable Ship to repair the cable.
Measure the length of exposed cable
Diver use the water jets and air lifts to bury the exposed cable at the depth of 1m or 1m5.
